We pride ourselves on being creative, innovative solution providers to our customers and partners.Job DescriptionEnfinity Global is looking for an Operations Manager for our new Composite Materials Recycling Plant located in Northern Portugal. This role is pivotal in leading the plant's start‑up phase and ensuring a smooth and successful commissioning and production process. As the key driver of day‑to‑day operations, this person will be responsible for establishing the foundations of operational excellence, safety, and efficiency in a pioneering facility that plays an essential role in Enfinity General's long‑term sustainability strategy.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee day‑to‑day production to ensure consistent and efficient operationsMonitor and improve operational KPIsDrive continuous process optimization and best‑practice implementationManage feedstock supply and inbound material flowsCoordinate internal logistics and ensure efficient movement across the plantSupervise overall internal flow performance and alignment with production needsEnsure accurate stock control and traceabilityImplement and improve logistics and warehousing methodologiesLead cyclical inventory routines and reportingCoordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activitiesPrioritize critical interventions to ensure equipment availability and reliabilityMaintain full documentation traceability aligned with Enfinity standardsEnsure strict compliance with safety regulations and environmental standardsPromote a strong safety culture, including 5S and LOTO proceduresSupport implementation and continuous improvement of quality systemsLead, motivate, and develop operational teamsManage shift structures and workforce planningPromote a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement. Partner with IT, Simplification, and Finance departments as needed to ensure solutions are well integrated with the company's other needs and initiativesRequirementsDegree in Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, or Materials Engineering10+ years in industrial operations roles, preferably in the automotive or related sectorProven experience leading operational/plant teams. Experience in plant commissioning phases is highly valuedStrong knowledge of operations management and production planningSolid understanding of industrial maintenance practicesExpertise in inventory control and logistics processesFamiliarity with Lean Manufacturing methodologiesExperience with ERP/MES systems and data analysisLanguages: English and Portuguese are required.
