Experteer Overview In this role you will ensure the stability, availability, and performance of CICS services within the IBM Mainframe environment, driving continuous improvement. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable mainframe solutions while leading incident resolution and supporting strategic modernization efforts. The position emphasizes technical depth, problem solving, and collaboration to maintain mission-critical systems. - Install, configure, administer, maintain, and support CICS systems software
- Create and manage CICS resource definitions and system configurations
- Provide L2/L3 support for applications using CICS services
- Lead problem determination, root cause analysis, and recovery during incidents
- Design and implement new technology solutions to improve availability and efficiency
- Monitor performance and resources to ensure optimal service levels
- Develop, test, and maintain backup, recovery, and business continuity procedures




- Administer user access controls and security using RACF and ACF2
- Perform capacity planning and performance tuning for CICS environments
- Support change management, release management, and implementation activities
- Create and maintain technical documentation and operational standardsResponsabilidades
- Several years of experience in Mainframe Systems Programming with specialization in CICS
- Experience with large-scale, mission-critical CICS environments
- Experience with CICS TS installation, customization, upgrade, maintenance, troubleshooting
- Exposure to Mainframe Sysplex and high availability configurations
- Strong hands-on experience with CICS TS, SMP/E, z/OS, JCL, TSO/ISPF, SDSF, RACF
- Ability to analyze and resolve complex system and application issues
- Experience supporting production-critical systems with stringent availability requirements
- Strong understanding of performance management and capacity planning
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills
