Experteer Overview As a Senior Software Developer at SITA For Aircraft, you will join a modernization program for Datalink observability, provisioning, and configuration management. You will collaborate with the Montreal team to design, build, test, and maintain components that improve how Datalink services are monitored and operated globally. You’ll apply modern AI-powered techniques to enhance development, testing, and documentation, while ensuring performance, security, and scalability. This role blends hands-on coding with cross-functional collaboration to shape critical air-transport infrastructure.

Compensaciones / Incentivos

Analyze legacy system software and identify improvement areas

Contribute to new Datalink Monitoring, Observability, Provisioning, and Configuration Management apps

Write high-quality, maintainable code meeting functional and non-functional requirements

Apply AI-powered development tools to improve coding efficiency and documentation

Design and perform software tests for Datalink applications and diagnose performance issues

Monitor and fix defects to maintain reliability and maintainability

Maintain development backlog aligned with business needs and modernization goals

Support modernization of legacy assets while ensuring operational continuity

Collaborate with engineers, architects, analysts, testers, product managers, and operations teams





Contribute to secure-by-design practices and documentation creation

Escalate non-compliance issues with policies and procedures

Responsabilidades

10+ years of software development experience in large-scale real-time or critical systems

Strong .NET 8/10 and C# in Windows

Hands-on experience with container orchestration and observability in Linux (Grafana Labs tools: Alloy, Loki, Mimir/Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry)

Experience with APIs (REST, SNMP, TCP/IP, UDP), microservices, distributed systems

Solid understanding of software architecture, modern programming paradigms, and event-based systems (Kafka)

Problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate in international teams

Experience writing high-quality, maintainable code and participating in reviews

Experience with AI-powered development tools for coding, testing, or documentation

Fluent in professional English

Educational background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
