Airports, historic towns, high-quality clinics and hospitals, hypermarkets, shopping and entertainment centres, Michelin-starred restaurants, service providers, beaches and promenades are all within convenient driving distance. We offer the opportunity to live and work in a beautiful, peaceful and genuinely healthy environment, to manage a real estate household and to be responsible for the preservation, order and flawless operation of a small private estate. The estate covers just over 20 hectares. The staff consists of 6 highly professional specialists: a fully established, experienced and highly capable team that already knows the property, its functions and responsibilities.
The private estate is located in Asturias, within a biosphere reserve surrounded by green mountains, the ocean with exceptionally clean beaches, a mountain river loved by European kayaking champions, pure mountain air, silence and real nature. Here you can live with your family, work in a calm environment and leave behind the commercial race of constantly searching for new business solutions in today's difficult world. We offer our manager-administrator remuneration above the standard level paid to many commercial property managers, although the nature of the role is fundamentally different. A commercial property manager must constantly think about increasing profit: where and how to attract new clients, create additional sources of revenue, reduce costs and, often most difficult of all, find staff who are capable of and genuinely willing to deliver the required level of performance. At our estate, commercial results are not the manager's responsibility.
The manager's task is to maintain the owner's established standards of quality,
preservation and flawless condition of what is effectively a new property, including the buildings, engineering systems, machinery and equipment of a recently commissioned estate. The manager must provide such high-quality administrative and operational management of the private residence that the owner is completely relieved of the daily operational burden: the need to personally inspect the property, notice the same problems, issue instructions and then repeatedly check whether they were carried out in the right place, at the right time and exactly as instructed.
The estate is already equipped with first-class staff and first-class equipment. A highly professional team of six specialists has been working on the property effectively and professionally for more than two years, has proved itself extremely well and is ready to continue. What the property lacks today is only a strong manager-administrator — a good commander who clearly understands the Purpose of the estate, understands the owner's key objectives, knows five-star hotel standards and is able to translate the owner's requirements into those standards and implement them. Because there are no clearly formalised procedures and each role is multi-functional, employees constantly become confused about priorities, sequence, stages and required standards. The manager must then be able to reflect all of this precisely and firmly in the relevant procedures and specific job descriptions, and professionally implement them together with an appropriate performance assessment and motivation system that ensures effective execution in practice.
We would like to find a like-minded person — someone who values respect for nature and people, order,
quality and a true sense of ownership and responsibility. An honest person and a genuine manager, not an office bureaucrat. It is not essential that you have previously worked specifically as the manager of a private estate. It is not essential what you have successfully managed before: construction or manufacturing, a car service business or a hotel, a technical service department or another complex facility. What is essential is that our manager-administrator is not an office bureaucrat with an impressive list of job titles. Bonuses: quarterly bonuses totalling up to €40,000 per year — subject to the absence of justified complaints, completion of agreed plans and high-quality staff performance.
- Salary, bonuses, requirements for experience and qualifications, as well as key responsibilities, do not depend on the level of income or profitability of the owner's estate, because this is not a requirement of the position. The priorities are solely preservation of the property, proper functioning of everything on site, cleanliness and order. Quarterly bonuses are paid for the quality of property management — absence of justified complaints, completion of agreed plans, reliable staff performance, preservation of the property, proper functioning of engineering systems, cleanliness and order. The amount and payment of the bonus do not depend on sales, revenue, profit or profitability of the estate, because commercial performance is not part of this role. The manager is responsible not for business development, but for the flawless condition of the property and the stable operation of the entire estate.
- Accommodation: a separate, new, large and comfortable house on the estate is provided. xqysrnh Additional benefits: meals, paid holiday, medical insurance.
- description of the property/facility you managed; Skills and competencies: planning, budgeting, reporting, performance evaluation and staff motivation, experience in recruitment and selection, training and certification;
