As a Senior Property Underwriter in Spain, you will underwrite complex property risks for corporate, mid-market, and multinational clients, shaping a growing portfolio across Spain and Europe. You will collaborate with brokers, customers and cross-functional teams to drive sustainable growth, high-quality underwriting outcomes, and strong service levels. You’ll act as a technical reference, sharing expertise and mentoring colleagues while engaging with multinational programmes and strategic portfolio initiatives. This role offers meaningful impact through risk assessment, portfolio management and market leadership within a integral insurer.

• Underwrite new and renewal Property business within delegated authority and guidelines
• Support profitable growth by contributing to the Property portfolio business plan
• Develop and maintain broker, customer and partner relationships in the Spanish market
• Underwrite multinational programmes and collaborate with international stakeholders

• Collaborate with Risk Management and Market Management to support underwriting decisions

Responsabilidades
• Significant underwriting experience in Commercial Property insurance
• Strong technical underwriting knowledge and portfolio management understanding
• Experience underwriting complex and multinational property programmes
• Proven ability to develop and maintain broker and customer relationships
• Strong commercial awareness and market dynamics understanding
• Excellent analytical, negotiation and decision-making skills
• Ability to interpret risk information and use data to support decisions
• Strong communication and stakeholder management
• Knowledge of applicable legal and regulatory requirements in insurance
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Experience using underwriting systems and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel
• Leadership, coaching or mentoring experience would be advantageous
