SAP Order-to-Cash (O2C) Consultant - Freelance ? Remote (Occasional travel to Portugal) | Start: October 2026 | 6-Month Initial Contract

Next Ventures is recruiting on behalf of a major American corporation currently rolling out a integral SAP template across their retail operations in Europe. This is a high-visibility, client-facing role where you will sit at the heart of the programme - acting as the functional bridge between the System Integrator (SI) and the business.

This is a freelance contract, remote-first with occasional travel to Portugal.

What You'll Be Doing

- Serve as the primary liaison between the SI delivery team and the end client's business stakeholders
- Support the global SAP template deployment across O2C / Order-to-Cash processes
- Facilitate workshops, gather and validate business requirements, and manage functional sign-off
- Translate business needs into functional specifications and ensure alignment with the global template design
- Drive user acceptance testing (UAT),



issue resolution, and go-live readiness
- Work closely with business process owners in retail and catering operations

Experience required:

- Proven experience as an SAP O2C / SD functional consultant
- Background working in or with retail and/or catering industry clients
- Experience on global template rollout programmes (highly desirable)
- Strong stakeholder management - comfortable working directly with business users and senior client contacts
- Fluent English - essential, as you will be working with an American customer
- Ability to travel occasionally to Portugal
- Self-starter, able to operate independently in a remote environment
