SAP MM S/4HANA Supply Functional Consultant - Spain | Freelance | 6 Months | Remote (Europe)

The Opportunity

Next Ventures is seeking a Spanish-speaking SAP MM S/4HANA Functional Consultant for a 6-month freelance contract as part of a wider S/4HANA programme for a US-based retail corporation. This role is focused on the Spanish market and works fully in European time zone.

Start date: early October.

The Role

You'll be the functional expert covering the Spanish supply chain workstream - acting as the liaison between the System Integrator (SI) and the end customer, ensuring Spanish market requirements are correctly captured, designed, and delivered.

The scope includes:

- Spanish supply chain operations - end-to-end procurement and inventory processes specific to the Spanish market
- Vendor compliance - local vendor management, compliance requirements, and supplier processes applicable in Spain
- SAP MM S/4HANA Retail - store-based operating model, goods movements, replenishment




- Bridging the gap between the SI and business stakeholders - translating local requirements into functional solutions

What We're Looking For

- Strong SAP MM functional expertise with S/4HANA implementation experience (essential - not just support/rollout)
- Knowledge of Spanish supply chain processes and vendor compliance requirements
- Experience in a retail environment, ideally with S/4HANA Retail or store-based models
- Proven ability to liaise between SI teams and end customers
- Spanish fluency - essential (working language for this workstream)
- English fluency - essential (programme working language)
- Based in Europe, working European business hours
- Available from early October
