About the Role
Join us as Portfolio Manager, Private Credit at AIA Investment Management
The position reports to the Head of Private Credit and assists in managing Private Credit portfolios and investments. The majority of investments are in funds (in which AIA is an investor or limited partner).
Responsibilities
- Sourcing fund, co
- and secondary investments by cultivating strong relationships with best-in-class Private Credit fund managers. Monitor the investment pipeline and market developments.
- Formulate and implement Private Credit investment strategies,
as well as construct and actively manage Private Credit portfolios, with the objective of delivering superior risk‑adjusted returns relative to internal return benchmarks.
- Lead end‑to‑end due diligence for new Private Credit fund, co
- and secondary investments (including those under separately managed accounts and fund-of-one vehicles), including analysing the credit quality and risk of investments, evaluating the experience and capabilities of fund managers, conducting market research, assessing/designing fund structures, driving commercial negotiations, overseeing legal, tax, and operational reviews, and securing internal approvals.
- Monitor existing investments by reviewing periodic reports and engaging regularly with fund managers on investment progress, portfolio performance, and market outlook.
