Travel Connection is a global sports travel company specialising in official match-day experiences for some of the world’s leading football clubs, including Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool, Manchester City, FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Rangers and many more.

Working directly with clubs and rights holders, Travel Connection distributes official products through an international network of travel trade partners and corporate clients worldwide.

Due to continued growth in integral sports tourism, we are looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to support expansion into new markets while driving increased revenue from existing partners.

Role Purpose

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new commercial opportunities, developing partnerships and increasing revenue across Travel Connection’s existing partner base.

The role combines business development, account growth and commercial coordination,



supporting the sales team in delivering sustainable revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development
- Conduct market research to identify new sectors, partners and regions.
- Target new distribution channels including affiliates, marketplaces, casinos, banking sector, concierges and travel partners.
- Develop and convert new commercial partnerships.
- Support expansion into emerging international markets.

Account Development
- Increase revenue from existing low and mid-level accounts.
- Reactivate dormant partners within the existing database.
- Maintain regular communication with assigned partners to drive sales performance.

Marketplace & Partner Management
- Manage marketplace relationships and product loading.
- Strengthen partner engagement and performance monitoring.

Commercial Support
- Prepare ad hoc quotations and commercial proposals.
- Support pricing coordination alongside sales director.
