As part of our growth, we are looking for a Project Manager Tower. In this role within the Tower Developments team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Sales, Production, and Certification Authorities, to drive the successful development of wind turbine towers. You will be responsible for performing the following tasks:
YOUR TASKS:
- Manage new development projects focused on wind turbine towers and optimization activities across the different Nordex portfolio platforms, assuring budget, quality and timeline of the project
- Manage and coordinate multiple development projects related to wind turbine towers ensuring budget, timeline, and quality standards are met
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (Electrical, Software, Mechanical Engineering) to ensure technical feasibility and proper implementation of requirements
- Oversee the development process from initial concept to serial production, including prototyping, testing, and certification




- Coordinate prototype tests and validation processes to ensure compliance with wind turbine requirements
- Align project scope and schedules with other project managers and report progress to the Platform Life cycle Management
- Manage stakeholder communication with Sales, Engineering, Operations, Sourcing and other relevant company integral functions
- Identify and mitigate project risks

YOUR PROFILE:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related fields
- Project Management experience required (PM certification preferred)
- Several years of experience in wind turbine industry. Preferred experience in the wind power industry and sound experience in management of complex projects.
- Very good MS office skills (including MS Project Server)
- Experience in an ERP and PLM system will be a plus
- Advanced English level (C1-C2). Spanish and/or German are a plus
- Availability to travel
