SAP Order-to-Cash (O2C) Consultant – Freelance Remote (Occasional travel to Portugal) | Start: October 2026 | 6-Month Initial Contract
Next Ventures is recruiting on behalf of a major American corporation currently rolling out a global SAP template across their retail operations in Europe. This is a high-visibility, client-facing role where you will sit at the heart of the programme — acting as the functional bridge between the System Integrator (SI) and the business.
This is a freelance contract , remote-first with occasional travel to Portugal.
What You'll Be Doing

Serve as the primary liaison between the SI delivery team and the end client's business stakeholders

Support the general SAP template deployment across O2C / Order-to-Cash processes

Facilitate workshops, gather and validate business requirements, and manage functional sign-off

Translate business needs into functional specifications and ensure alignment with the global template design

Drive user acceptance testing (UAT), issue resolution, and go-live readiness





Work closely with business process owners in retail and catering operations

Experience required:

Proven experience as an SAP O2C / SD functional consultant

Background working in or with retail and/or catering industry clients

Experience on global template rollout programmes (highly desirable)

Strong stakeholder management — comfortable working directly with business users and senior client contacts

Fluent English — essential, as you will be working with an American customer

Ability to travel occasionally to Portugal

Self-starter, able to operate independently in a remote environment
