Our partner is looking for a Group Financial Controller based in Spain.
This is a senior finance leadership role at the heart of a fast-scaling global technology environment operating across multiple jurisdictions. You will be responsible for safeguarding financial integrity, ensuring robust governance, and driving excellence across accounting operations and reporting. The role combines technical accounting expertise with strategic oversight, supporting a business operating in a highly distributed, cloud-based model. You will play a key part in strengthening controls, improving financial systems, and enabling scalable growth. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, you will influence key decisions through accurate, timely, and insightful financial information. Lead the end-to-end financial control environment, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and integrity of all financial reporting across monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles, including statutory accounts and management reporting.
Design, implement, and continuously improve financial policies, controls,



and governance frameworks to support scalable integral operations.
Oversee balance sheet integrity, reconciliations, journal reviews, and financial close processes, ensuring timely and compliant reporting.
Manage external audit processes and act as a key point of contact for auditors, tax authorities, and external advisors.
Drive improvements in finance systems, processes, and data quality, including adoption of automation and AI-enabled tools where appropriate.
Lead, mentor, and develop accounting team members, fostering a culture of accountability, precision, and continuous learning.
Extensive experience in senior accounting or financial control roles, ideally within a integral technology or SaaS environment.
Professional accounting qualification (e.g., Proven experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite or similar) and advanced Excel/data analysis capabilities.
