Santander Corporate & Investment Banking (Santander CIB) is Santander's global division that supports some of the world's most complex and sophisticated corporate and institutional clients, offering customized services and value-added wholesale products to best meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities
- Execute and manage short-term repo transactions across European Government Bonds,



including General Collateral and later Specials.
- Provide market levels and pricing indications in response to specific requests from Sales teams and other internal stakeholders.
- Work closely with Sales teams to support client activity and respond efficiently to market and financing requests.
- Monitor repo rates, liquidity, market conditions and supply/demand dynamics across securities and maturities.
- Contribute to the management of client financing needs and the efficient use of the bank's balance sheet and collateral.
- Support the optimisation of funding, collateral and balance-sheet usage while meeting client financing requirements.
- Identify and analyse relative value and funding opportunities across different securities, maturities and counterparties.
- Monitor trading risks, including market, liquidity, counterparty and settlement risks.
