We are seeking an experienced DB2 for z/OS Systems Programmer to join our DB2 Support Team and provide technical leadership and operational support for a large and complex DB2 for z/OS environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all systems programming aspects of DB2 for z/OS, supporting a large database estate comprising 50+ DB2 subsystems across multiple mainframe platforms and geographies.
This role is critical to ensuring the availability, performance, integrity, maintenance, and security of the organization's DB2 infrastructure.
You will work closely with application development, infrastructure, operations, and security teams to maintain highly available and secure DB2 environments while supporting strategic database initiatives, performance optimization, disaster recovery planning, and technology upgrades.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, excellent troubleshooting capabilities, and the ability to operate independently within a complex enterprise environment.
