Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Buena is building the world's first protein-first food brand. We start with pizza, but our vision is bigger: a full range of meals across channels that prove you never have to choose between eating well and eating high-protein food you actually want. We launched in Barcelona and we are going general.

We're looking for a CEO who doesn't just execute, someone who architects the machine, then runs it at full speed, and leads Buena from its first location to a global, multi-channel brand.

The Role

You will lead Buena. You'll work alongside the founder (who leads brand, community and product) and our investors (including some of the most successful entrepreneurs in Spain) to ensure the company is built on the best foundations from day one and is ready to scale when the time comes.

This is a 360° leadership role with full ownership of the company: strategy, P&L;, team, fundraising and expansion. You set the vision, the plan and the numbers and you get your hands dirty as we scale.

What You'll Own




- Company leadership & P&L;:
overall performance, strategy and final accountability for the business
- Financial management:
daily KPIs, P&L;, cash flow, reporting, and investor relations
- 12-month execution plan:
milestones, KPIs
- 10-year growth strategy:
market expansion, retail, international rollout
- Fundraising:
leading the round — deck, data room, investor narrative, and closing
- Channel strategy:
defining and leading how Buena reaches the world. Restaurants & own locations, retail & grocery, HORECA (hotels, gyms, corporate canteens, sport facilities), D2C & delivery, and wholesale partnerships
- In the trenches:
this isn't a strategy-only seat. You'll be in the kitchen making pizzas if we're short-staffed, approving tickets, checking inventory at 11pm before a launch... No task is beneath you if the brand needs it
- Organisation building:
designing the org chart as we scale, from 5 to 50+, and hiring
