Senior ERP Backend Engineer - Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management / ERP Platform

1. Role Purpose

The Senior ERP Backend Engineer will design, build, extend, integrate, and support backend components for the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management ERP platform. The role requires hands‑on engineering capability in X++, extension-based customization, ERP integrations, reporting, performance optimization,



and application lifecycle management. The position is intended for a developer who can translate functional requirements into reliable technical solutions while protecting upgradeability,stability, security, and maintainability of the ERP template.

Core expectation:This is not a generic backend developer role. The successful candidate must be a Dynamics 365 ERP technical specialist who can build APIs, reports, integrations, extensions, and performance‑safe customizations within Microsoft ERP best practices.

2. Key Responsibilities

2.1 ERP Backend Development & Extensions
- Design and develop Dynamics 365 FSCM extensions using X++ and standard extension patterns; avoidoverlayeringunless explicitly justified and approved.
- Customize forms, tables, data entities, classes, workflows, business events, batch jobs, and extensions to meet approved business requirements.
