We are working with a Madrid-headquartered, independently owned real assets investment firm on the hire of a Senior Associate for its real estate debt team.

The role
- Origination, structuring and execution of asset-backed real estate credit transactions across Southern and Western Europe.




- Full underwriting ownership: cash flow and capital structure modelling, collateral analysis, downside and recovery scenarios.
- Coordination of legal, tax, technical and valuation due diligence with external advisers.
- Preparation of investment committee materials and direct dialogue with sponsors, borrowers and intermediaries.
- Portfolio monitoring, amendments, restructurings and asset management support after closing.
- Mentoring junior members of a lean deal team.

What we are looking for
- Several years of relevant experience in real estate debt, structured or asset-backed finance, real estate investment banking, debt advisory, special situations or credit funds.
- Demonstrable international experience — cross-border transactions, multi-jurisdiction structures, or time spent working outside your home market. This is a genuine priority for the client.
