This role is critical to ensuring the availability, performance, integrity, maintenance, and security of the organization's DB2 infrastructure.You will work closely with application development, infrastructure, operations,



and security teams to maintain highly available and secure DB2 environments while supporting strategic database initiatives, performance optimization, disaster recovery planning, and technology upgrades.Provide Level 2 and Level 3 technical support for applications utilizing DB2.Ensure the stability, integrity, availability, and performance of DB2 databases and supporting infrastructure.Support and manage Distributed Data Facility (DDF) and distributed DB2 connectivity.Monitor database performance and implement tuning recommendations to improve efficiency and throughput.Perform system capacity planning and growth forecasting.Develop, test, and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.Implement and manage database security controls and access governance.Troubleshoot and resolve complex database and infrastructure issues.Collaborate with application teams to support database design, deployment, and problem resolution.Ensure all database and monitoring solutions are maintained on supported ve
