back-end developer

for its activities in theareas of

Space Surveillance and Tracking (SST) and Space Traffic Management(STM) , including related engineering activities. GMV is a leading company inthe space sector in particular in Space Surveillance and Tracking (SST) and inSpace Traffic Management (STM). GMV engineers use cutting-edge technologies todevelop the solutions of the future. We are looking for engineers anddevelopers who bring new ideas, new ways of working, and above all, passion forchallenges. As an engineer, you will work on specific projects related to SSTand STM with opportunities to switch team, location and project as GMV growsand evolves. Space Traffic Management (STM) is becoming a more and morerelevant topic in the space sector due to the need to manage the traffic of thepopulation of objects orbiting the Earth, both space debris and operationalsatellites, which is growing currently and is expected to increase even moredramatically due to the launch of mega-constellations. You will be integrated in GMV's SST multidisciplinary teamlocated across several countries, with several projects currently on-going.In particular, you will:



Development of new functionalities in the backend side ofa microservice-based architecture Design the data model – work with messagebrokers. Use and managements of containers will be also required. WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM? We are looking for

experts in SW development with

backgroundand interest in: Java (Spring boot and Hibernate) or python (Django, Flask,FastAPI) Docker Relational Databases (PostgreSQL, MariaDB, MySQL) REST API We will also value previous experience, and knowledge in Front-end (React), Background in aerospace or astrophysics and Orbital mechanics.
