QUALITY MANAGER – ZARAGOZA, SPAIN | CONTRACT

We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join a major project in Zaragoza, Spain, working on the Client side.

The Role

We are looking for a strong Quality Manager with experience overseeing quality activities on major construction or engineering projects from the Client/Owner side.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and managing quality performance across the project, ensuring contractors and subcontractors meet the required standards, specifications and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and oversee the project quality function from the Client side
- Monitor contractor and subcontractor quality performance
- Review and approve quality plans, ITPs and inspection documentation
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards and procedures
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits
- Monitor NCRs, corrective actions and quality close-out




- Review method statements and quality documentation
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants and project stakeholders
- Report on quality performance, issues and progress
- Ensure all quality documentation is maintained and completed correctly
- Drive a strong quality culture throughout the project

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Quality Manager on major construction or engineering projects
- Previous Client-side / Owner-side experience is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC processes and construction quality standards
- Experience managing contractors and subcontractors
- Strong understanding of ITPs, inspections, NCRs and quality documentation
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment
- Previous experience on large-scale projects is preferred
