The Computer VisionCenter(CVC) is a non-profit researchcenterestablishedin 1995 by theGeneralitatde Catalunya and theUniversitatAutònomade Barcelona (UAB). Its mission is to carry outcutting-edgeresearch that has the highest international impact in the field of computer vision. It also promotes the transference of knowledge to industry and society.
Computer vision is an exciting research area and an omnipresent technology,essentially empoweringmachines with the sense of vision. The CVC is a successful marriage between knowledge and innovation.
In addition to ourcutting-edgescientific achievements, we haveestablishedlasting ties with industrial partners and created several spin-off companies.
CONTEXTAND MISSION
We are seeking a postdoc to join the Quantum Machine Learningteam(QML-CVC) in beautiful Barcelona.
The QML-CVC team( )is part of the Computer Vision Center at theUniversitatAutònomade Barcelona; theCVC isacenterwith over 150 persons working machine learningand computer visionresearch.
The position is for 3years , starting ASAP,focused on ‘Quantum Machine Learning’ ,withtheobjectiveof investigating hybrid classical-quantum and quantum inspired algorithms.The tasks will include the design and implementation of explorative research pathways for general problems related to machine learning and computer vision.
