Experteer Overview As a z/OS Mainframe Systems Programmer, you enable stable, secure, and highly available mainframe services for enterprise environments. You will manage installation, upgrades, and maintenance of z/OS and key system software, collaborating with cross-functional teams to support mission-critical operations. You will drive reliability and performance in large-scale, banking/financial services contexts, handling planned upgrades and after-hours work as needed. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to shape mainframe infrastructure and mentor junior engineers within a general team.Compensaciones / Beneficios
- Install, configure, and maintain IBM z/OS and related system software across enterprise environments
- Plan and execute OS upgrades and maintenance using SMP/E
- Administer and support Parallel Sysplex environments for high availability
- Perform system performance monitoring, capacity planning, and resource optimization
- Troubleshoot complex z/OS, middleware, and infrastructure issues
- Collaborate with application support, security, and operations teams to ensure platform stability




- Provide after-hours support for critical changes and DR/BC initiatives

- 10+ years of hands-on z/OS Systems Programming experience
- Deep knowledge of z/OS, SMP/E, TSO/ISPF, USS, SDSF, JCL, RACF
- Strong expertise in Parallel Sysplex implementation and administration
- Experience with IBM and CA/Broadcom mainframe products
- Experience in large enterprise environments, preferably Banking/Financial Services
- Strong troubleshooting and independent problem-solving abilities
