Role Description

We are seeking a motivated
Engine Calibration Engineer (DPF Specialist)
. The candidate will be responsible for executing engine calibration and development activities on Diesel engines, supporting the client’s organization across testing, analysis, and aftertreatment system management phases.

Key Responsibilities

Working closely with the engineering team, the candidate will be responsible for:
- Preparation and Setup:
Preparing and checking engine measurement instrumentation; supporting and coordinating engine installation at the test bench.
- Test Planning & Execution:
Defining and executing tests according to established testing methodologies,



including occasional autonomous operational management of
HIL
,
Hydraulic Rig
, and
PUMA Console
hardware.
- Data Analysis & Reporting:
Analyzing experimental results, preparing detailed technical reports, and presenting outcomes during dedicated project meetings.
- Facility Coordination:
Managing relationships and contacts with internal and external testing facilities throughout execution.

Required Technical Skills

The adecuado candidate should meet the following requirements:
- Master’s Degree in
Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering
, or an equivalent discipline.
- Mandatory Requirement:
At least
2 years of recent experience
in
DPF

) calibration activities, with a focus on:
- Soot accumulation and burning models.
- Regeneration strategies.
- Oil dilution analysis.
- Solid understanding of base Diesel engine mechanics, combustion processes, and exhaust aftertreatment systems.
