Vetland is a growing company operating in the veterinary sector. As part of our international growth strategy, we are looking for an ambitious and curious intern to join a strategic project focused on understanding the Italian veterinary and pet insurance market.

This is a unique opportunity to work directly with the CEO and gain hands-on experience in market research, business development and competitive analysis within a rapidly evolving industry.

Your Mision

You will support Vetland in developing a deep understanding of the Italian veterinary ecosystem, helping identify market opportunities, key industry players, emerging trends and potential business partnerships.

Your work will contribute directly to strategic decision-making and future growth initiatives in Italy.

What will you do
- Research the Italian veterinary landscape, identifying leading veterinary groups, hospitals, clinics and multi-site networks across cities such as Milan, Rome, Turin and Bologna.




- Analyse how veterinary operators position themselves in the market, including their services, specialties, geographic coverage, business models and value propositions.
- Participate in comparative studies of veterinary providers, identifying differences between independent practices, corporate groups and referral hospitals, working alongside the CEO.
- Gather and analyse information on service offerings, pricing structures and market trends to better understand the dynamics of the Italian veterinary sector.
- Research the pet insurance market in Italy, identifying insurance companies, brokers, assistance providers and other relevant stakeholders.
- Assess how insurance companies and veterinary clinics collaborate and identify different partnership models within the market.
