Experteer Overview
As Senior Flood Modeller you will develop and verify hydraulic and hydrological models to support flood risk assessments and flood alleviation schemes, collaborating with cross-functional teams on water and transportation projects. You’ll apply climate-change insights to assess future risks and mentor colleagues to grow capability within the Hydraulics and Drainage team. This role sits within Enterprise Capabilities, contributing to high-quality designs for public and private sector clients. You’ll help deliver scalable water solutions across multiple regions and projects.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Develop and validate hydraulic models using Flood Modeller, TUFLOW, Mike 11/21, HEC-RAS and ICM
• Perform hydrological analyses to define model boundary conditions
• Interpret outputs to assess current and future flood risk under climate scenarios
• Mentor and develop team members




• Build and maintain client relationships across disciplines
• Prepare graphical outputs and GIS deliverables
• Verify models and tools to ensure reliability of predictions
• Collaborate with modelling team and other disciplines

Responsabilidades
• 8+ years of experience on fluvial, coastal, surface water or drainage flood risk projects
• Proficiency in Flood Modeller and TUFLOW
• Familiarity with water quality models (advantageous)
• Familiarity with Flood Estimation Handbook, ReFH2 and WINFAP (advantageous)
• Fluent in English (oral and written)
• Experience on UK or Irish projects (favourable)
