POSITION SUMMARY:

The Clinical Specialist for Clinical & Medical Affairs (CMA) is responsible for customer product training and education to ensure the safe and appropriate use of Teleflex products in line with CMA strategic priorities to achieve exceptional clinical outcomes for patients. The Clinical Specialist reports to the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) CMA Manager.

The Clinical Specialist will assist with education programs and collaborate with key physicians & healthcare providers (HCP) to provide country level education and clinical support for the Teleflex Acute Care product portfolio, including the Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps/Catheters and Anesthesia/Respiratory products. Working with the EMEA CMA Manager, the position will facilitate legally compliant HCP interactions and education delivery. Collaborating with Business Unit (BU) CMA leadership, Commercial leadership and marketing, the identification and delivery of clinical support and procedural education will be provided to physicians, nurses, technicians, etc. in the therapeutic areas related to Acute Care’s focus products. The ability to troubleshoot medical device applications in an ICU, OR and cardiology clinical setting are necessary. Success in this role requires strong training expertise, excellent interpersonal skills,and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

As an integral part of the CMA team, performance will be measured on delivery of assigned procedural education, it’s customer evaluations and feedback from the EMEA CMA leadership.

This role will educate and support a wide range of healthcare professionals on the safe and effective use of Teleflex Acute Care products. It advances clinical practice through impactful training programmes and provides ongoing support to the sales and marketing teams by staying current on the latest clinical evidence, practices and product developments.

Provide Clinical procedural training to customers in the use of the Teleflex Acute Care portfolio to ensure safe and effective utilization of the products.
- Assist with and support all education sessions delivered by HCPs and clinical faculty members.
- Manage and facilitate clinical breakout sessions as needed at internal meetings, medical conferences and societal congresses
- Develop and deliver educational activities ensuring compliance with Teleflex regulatory requirements.
- Maintain training records as directed by CMA Leadership.
- Provide clinical/procedural support and product training to cross-functional partners, including but not limited to sales and marketing.
- Assist with the development and relationship maintenance of Key Opinion Leaders.
- Execute field clinical troubleshooting on the Company’s products by working with clinicians as requested & in collaboration with the QA/RA teams.
- Collaborate & communicate effectively across CMA, Marketing& Sales team and remain compliant with Teleflex HCP policy and legal education requirements.
- Keep current with medical literature, clinical initiatives/guidelines and industry trends and communicate with the appropriate commercial partners

- Other assigned duties and responsibilities as required by CMA objectives.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

- Registered Nurse with currentregistration or other clinical qualification.
- Degree levelnursing qualificationor equivalent academic provision.
- Professional instructors/education qualification desirable.
- Possess a minimum of 3 years’experience in acute care; preferably within a Critical Care and/or Cardiac Critical Care environment. Experience with Intra-Aortic balloon pumps is essential.,




- Experience in Airway Management desirable.
- Proven experience of education and teaching using simulation and workshop approaches desirable
- Experience of developing and delivering teachingpresentations to a group of health care professionals.

SPECIALIZED SKILLS & OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

- Exhibits strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as presentation skills.
- Exhibits strong time-management and organizational skills.
- Established track record of building and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Spanish native speaker and fluent English speaker (Portuguese not essential but desirable)
- The knowledge of multiple European languages will be considered a plus.
- Clinical proficiency in area of clinical training.
- Based in Spain with driving license.
- Post will require frequent travel across Iberia and occasional trips outside of Region.

TRAVEL REQUIRED: Up to 75%.
