Join us as Gypsum Resources Senior Manager and play a key role in securing the long-term future of one of Etex's most strategic raw materials. Working as part of our integral Gypsum Resources team, you will help shape and deliver our long-term gypsum sourcing strategy, ensuring the sustainable supply of gypsum for our worldwide plaster and plasterboard operations. From developing new resource opportunities and supporting quarry projects to driving innovation in natural, synthetic and recycled gypsum sourcing,
you will work at the intersection of geology, mining, sustainability and business strategy.
Location: Flexible within Europe.
Travel: Up to 50% international travel.
What you’ll do:
Help deliver Etex's long-term gypsum sourcing strategy and secure sustainable supply for our global plaster and plasterboard network.
Assess future plant requirements and identify natural, synthetic and recycled gypsum opportunities.
Maintain and validate gypsum reserve estimates in line with PERC/JORC standards.
Support annual mining plans, investment priorities, budgets and performance improvement initiatives.
Lead or support quarry and greenfield projects, from exploration and resource modelling through permitting, land acquisition and mine development.
Build effective long-term relationships with suppliers, consultants, authorities and industry associations.
Promote more sustainable resource solutions, including recycled gyps
