Chery Spain R&D; Center is Chery Automobile’s regional R&D; Center in Europe and a key part of its global strategy. The center focuses on European adaptation and validation, plant technical support, localized component development, quality issue analysis, connected vehicle operations, and FL vehicle development, while continuously strengthening its capabilities in product definition, validation, technical coordination, and project support. With the capability to independently develop large FL models for integral markets, it plays a vital role in Chery’s global R&D; network and is committed to delivering competitive solutions for both European and international markets.
What You'll Do
Perform chassis tuning activities to achieve optimal Ride & Handling (R&H;) performance.
Calibrate and adjust chassis systems, including springs, dampers, anti-roll bars, EPS, bushings, bump stops, and active chassis systems.
Independently conduct vehicle dynamics testing and tuning activities at proving grounds and test locations across Europe.
Analyze test results and prepare technical reports and recommendations.
Support the resolution of complex ride and handling performance issues.
Define vehicle-level and system-level R&H; performance targets through benchmarking and driving character evaluations.
Support objective and subjective testing correlation activities.
Contribute throughout the full vehicle development process, from concept definition to launch.
Participate in validation and development test campaigns.
Drive continuous improvement of chassis tuning methodologies and engineering processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams both locally and globally to achieve vehicle performance targets.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Vehicle Dynamics and Chassis Tuning.
