Experteer Overview
In this role you will drive the development, qualification, and continuous improvement of composite manufacturing methods for prepregs and related materials. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define processes, validation plans, and manufacturing documentation that enable reliable production and supplier qualification. Your work will directly support mission-critical aerospace-grade composite components and transition to automated manufacturing where applicable. This is a hands-on, impact-oriented position in a high-change, engineering-driven environment.

Compensaciones / Ventajas
• Develop engineering specifications for hand lay-up processes of prepreg parts
• Define routing sheets for prepreg parts per engineering specifications
• Establish and control prepreg material handling (out-time, storage, lot traceability, shelf-life)
• Lead new part qualification with first-article build plans and qualification inspections
• Develop and validate new manufacturing processes (layup configurations, cure cycles, bagging) before production release




• Coordinate with material and process suppliers on evaluation criteria and conformity tests
• Support transition and qualification of Automated Fiber Placement (AFP) processes
• Define and maintain routing sheets and work instructions for new and existing parts and processes
• Define ply kit requirements from engineering ply books and layup sequences
• Provide disposition on SCSRs and non-conformances including containment and corrective actions
• Document lessons learned and update instructions as parts/processes are qualified

Responsabilidades
• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering
• minimum 3 years of experience in composite manufacturing
• experience with prepregs, lay-up, cure cycles and related processes
• ability to define and control manufacturing documentation and specifications
