Department overview
Risk management refers to a ‘coordinated application of resources to minimise, monitor, and control the probability and/ or impact of unfortunate events or to maximise the realisation of opportunities (ISO 31000).
The Risk Department is tasked to establish, implement and maintain risk management policies and procedures that are effective in managing the risk exposure of Monex Europe.



The aim is to maintain Monex Europe’s risk profile within the risk appetite while allowing the group to pursue its goals. The department facilitates the implementation of the risk management framework that governs the risk-taking activities of Monex Europe.
Job Overview
As a member of the risk team, the Risk Analyst is responsible for assisting both: the regulatory reporting and the counterparty risk team to manage the counterparty risk exposure of the business and ensure the correct regulatory reporting delivery. The role involves elaboration of regulatory and monitoring reports as well as assessing the creditworthiness of counterparties, provide information to FO and Risk regarding the collateral of the clients, monitoring risk indicators, exposures, limits, and reviewing the credit quality of Monex Europe’s counterparties on a portfolio basis.
