About The Role

In this role, you will help shape and execute Uber's Field Support Operations (FSO) strategy to scale Autonomous Vehicle (AV) deployment across our platform. Collaborating with AV tech partners, local operators, product teams, and regulatory bodies, you will build and manage rapid-response protocols for in-field incidents. The idóneo candidate is a hands-on operational leader with strong technical aptitude and exceptional stakeholder management skills. You are comfortable traveling to emerging AV markets, thrive in ambiguity, and possess a track record of scaling zero-to-one operational processes in high-growth environments.

What You'll Do

Lead our FSO partners through scaling rapid response supply, and support ongoing operations in your region with cross-functional partners
Act as the main point of contact for the FSO partner, managing escalations and driving resolutions for any operational issues
Lead Field Support Operator training in partnership with AV tech partners
Coordinate incident response drills and manage auditing activities with FSO partners




Work closely with Uber cross-functional teams to identify and resolve dependencies to highlight resource requirements, help inform budgets, help define KPIs, and be accountable for performance
Approach data with curiosity and a focus on accuracy; you'll identify and report trends, helping the team think creatively through solutions while working to turn ideas into actionable plans

Basic Qualifications:

5+ years of Operations Management or Program Management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

AV Operations experience
Ability to travel internationally up to 50% to support a field presence
Highly structured, organized, and detail-oriented approach to work
Proven ability to thrive in dynamic, ambiguous environments with a hands-on, startup-like approach
Strong operational skills: staffing, training, field response dispatching and positioning, SOP adherence
