In this hands-on technical leadership role, you guide the Drug Development Data Platform to deliver trusted data and AI-enabled solutions across discovery to analysis. You lead multidisciplinary teams, shaping data products and analytical capabilities that accelerate drug discovery and development.
You’ll set standards for data engineering, analytics, and AI, while driving delivery with Agile, Dev Ops, and MLOps practices. You will work across AWS, Azure, and modern cloud-native architectures to enable scalable, compliant, and impactful data platforms.

- Define technical direction for data products, analytics platforms and AI-enabled capabilities
- Design secure, scalable architectures for batch, streaming, event-driven, API and AI workloads
- Lead data contracts, domain data products, metadata, lineage and self-service patterns
- Make decisions on cloud infrastructure, data storage, processing, orchestration, AI services, and app development
- Manage technical debt, platform risks, performance, dependencies and cloud costs
- Hands-on code contributions and reviews in Python and SQL, plus production support

and secure software supply-chain practices
- Apply data quality checks, monitoring, and incident response

- Lead globally distributed delivery and maintain clear documentation and runbooks
- Promote reuse, interoperability and continuous feedback across products and domains
- Coach engineers and promote responsible, well-governed AI use

Responsabilidades

- Experience as Data Engineering Lead, Software/Platform/AI Engineering Lead or equivalent
- Hands-on production data/software/AI product experience in the cloud
- Strong Python and SQL with testing, debugging, and production support
- Experience with data modeling, pipelines, orchestration, quality, lineage and observability
- Experience with AWS, Azure or similar clouds, CI/CD, IaC, containers, production ops
- Ability to communicate complex topics clearly and make pragmatic architectural decisions
- Experience coaching engineers and raising engineering standards
