We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Electrical & Control Engineer to join our team. This position combines a strong technical background in industrial electrical panels and process automation with experience in field commissioning and start-up procedures..

Electricity, Instrumentation & Control Engineer De Dietrich Ibérica for Sant Cugat del Vallès

HYBRID POSITION ( 4 ON - 1 OUT )

Key Responsibilities

 Complete/review P&IDs; related to the EIC section.

 Develop complete functional specifications for the facilities in collaboration with process engineers.

 Prepare area classification studies as needed.

 Participate in risk assessments or HAZOP studies.

 Prepare single-line power diagrams.

 Define the control architecture of the facilities and define the basic layout of required/desired control screens.

 Generate lists of electrical consumers, lists of instruments and automatic and control valves.

Generate lists of A/D signals.

 Generate lists of cables, cable trays, and conduits

 Generate the necessary legal documents using internal information or data from suppliers/subcontractors: Low Voltage, etc.





 Generate the portion of the final documentation dossier corresponding to the EIC section.

 Preparation of specifications for sending RFQs to suppliers and subcontractors. Review and tabulation of bids. Management of the procurement and subcontracting process.

 Review of detailed electrical engineering drawings and cabinet layouts submitted by suppliers.

 Monitoring of the programming and implementation processes for HMI/DCS screens.

 FAT of power and control cabinets at the supplier’s facility.

 FAT via functional simulation of the control system and screens.

 Supervision of cabinet installation and field wiring work.

 Full support during the start-up, commissioning, and validation phases of the installations.

Required Qualifications & Experience

 Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related technical fields.

 Minimum 2 years of proven experience in execution of complex process equipment, machinery, or turnkey plants (ideally in chemical, pharmaceutical, fine chemicals, water treatment or similar process industries).

 Familiarity with handling complex technical requisitions and specifications.





 Full professional proficiency in Spanish and English (both spoken and written – C1/C2 level).

 Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel for budgeting, Word/PowerPoint for proposals and presentations).

Essential Skills & Personal Attributes

 Excellent social and negotiation skills: comfortable in complex, multi-stakeholder discussions and problem-solving under pressure.

 Proactive, positive, dynamic, and results-oriented mindset.

 Willingness and availability to travel approximately 25% of the time (national and international client visits, events, etc.).P a g e 3 | 3

 Capacity and motivation to quickly learn specialized automation software.

Highly Valued (will be a strong advantage in the selection process)

 Additional languages: French and/or German.

 Experience with GAMP 5 design requirements and EIC facility validation processes in accordance with FDA 21 CFR Part 11 is highly desirable..

 Technical knowledge or hands-on experience in evaporation, concentration, crystallization, or drying processes.

 Proficiency in AutoCAD (or similar tools) for electrical schemes.

 Programing skills

 Previous experience in machinery manufacturing or integration companies.

 Experience in international projects.
