- We’re looking for a Lead Product Manager - travel.tech (APIs, MCP & Provider Integrations) to guide the core platform: the REST API, the MCP server, the developer experience, and the provider integrations that power everything underneath
- Guide the agentic AI strategy — define how BizAway’s platform surfaces as a first-class citizen in the agentic internet. Drive the MCP roadmap and tool surface (search, hold, book, modify, cancel, disruption recovery), define the auth model (OAuth 2.1, per-agent scopes, spend caps) that makes it enterprise-safe, and own distribution across the MCP Registry, Claude Plugin Marketplace, and Zapier
- Own the API product — define and evolve the roadmap for travel.tech’s REST API.
Own the full developer lifecycle: endpoint design, versioning strategy, webhook architecture, and sandbox environment
- Own the provider integration layer — work closely with engineering to ensure content quality, latency, and feature parity across all providers: Amadeus, TravelFusion, Trainline, and others
- Shape the developer experience — make travel.tech the easiest travel API to integrate. Support docs, sandbox, SDK quality, and onboarding flows for the target developer personas
- Measure what matters — define and track the metrics that prove platform health: API latency, MCP tool invocation volume, sandbox-to-production conversion rate, and more
- Drive adoption and monetization — own the pricing model, API tier design, usage analytics, and conversion from free tier to Growth and Enterprise
Benefits
- Health Insurance
- Employee welfare
- Multicultural environment
- Remote work and flexibility
- Euity in the company- 5 – 8 years as a Product Manager, with at least 2–3 years leading a developer platform,
integration-heavy B2B SaaS domain, or consumer-grade API product
- Working knowledge of API authentication systems — including HMAC and OAuth, with a clear understanding of the tradeoffs between auth approaches in multi-tenant, agentic contexts
- Hands-on experience with AI/LLM integrations — you understand Model Context Protocol deeply: how MCP tool schemas are designed, what makes an MCP server first-class in Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, and others. Prior experience shipping or maintaining an MCP server is a strong differentiator
- Data-driven — you define metrics before you build, instrument the platform properly, and know the difference between a latency regression and a content gap
- Strong technical foundation — you can read API specs, have strong opinions on REST design and webhook reliability, and can have a real conversation with a backend and platform team. You are opinionated about API and data model style — you know what a clean, consumer-grade API feels like and you won’t ship one that doesn’t meet that bar
- Systems thinker first — you naturally model problems as systems, map dependencies before drawing solutions, and instinctively ask what breaks at 10x scale. You think in interfaces, contracts, and failure modes before you think in features
- Travel tech fluency (nice to have) — familiarity with the supplier stack: airlines via GDS (Amadeus, Sabre, Travelport) and NDC, hotel aggregators (Expedia Partner Solutions, Booking.com for Business, Hotelbeds), EU/UK rail, and car rental aggregators
- Fluent in English (Spanish or Italian a plus)
- Experience in the travel industry or in enterprise settings
- Knowledge of programming basics will help you perform at your best
