About the RoleWe are a growing international education group looking for a Teacher Training & Onboarding Specialist to take ownership of one of the most important parts of our people journey: ensuring that every new team member is properly trained, assessed, and fully ready to perform their role from day one.

As the majority of our new hires are teachers, we are particularly interested in candidates with a background in teaching, teacher training, academic coordination, instructional coaching, or Learning & Development within education.

However, this is not a training-only position.

The person joining us will also take operational ownership of the onboarding process, ensuring that once a new employee successfully completes their training and assessment, there are no unnecessary delays preventing them from starting work.

Selected → Trained → Assessed → Fully Ready to Work

You will own that journey from training through to successful onboarding.

What You’ll DoTraining & Learning Development

- Deliver onboarding and initial training programmes for new employees, particularly teachers.
- Train new team members on our company culture, values, ways of working, policies, and internal standards.
- Train teachers on our educational methodology, teaching expectations, classroom practices, and academic standards.
- Deliver relevant company-wide training to non-academic teams when required.
- Design and continuously improve training materials, presentations, guides, exercises, and assessments.
- Assess new hires following training and determine whether they have successfully achieved the required standards.
- Identify ongoing learning needs and support the development of continuous training programmes.




- Work closely with Academic and departmental leaders to transform internal knowledge and best practices into structured, effective training.

Onboarding & Ready-to-Work OperationsYour responsibility does not end when the training session finishes.

Once a new employee progresses through training, you will ensure that everything required for them to start working is completed quickly and correctly.

This will include

- Owning and completing the new-hire onboarding checklist.
- Collecting and checking required employee information and documentation.
- Entering and maintaining employee information in Personio.
- Coordinating the preparation of employment contracts using established processes and approved templates.
- Creating or coordinating company email accounts and user profiles.
- Setting up or coordinating access to internal systems and platforms.
- Managing access to CRM, Google Classroom, and other relevant tools.
- Preparing, assigning, and delivering laptops and other equipment.
- Ensuring schedules, systems, documentation, equipment, and access are ready before the employee’s start date.
- Coordinating with HR, IT, Academic, and other teams whenever their involvement is required.
- Following up on outstanding actions until the employee is fully Ready to Work.

We believe that sending a request to another department does not mean the task is complete. The onboarding process is complete when the new employee has everything they need to successfully perform their role. What We’re Looking For

- Relevant experience in teaching, teacher training, Learning & Development, academic coordination, instructional coaching, or employee onboarding.




- Previous hands-on teaching experience is highly valued.
- Experience training teachers or adult learners would be a strong advantage.
- Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
- Ability to explain complex information in a practical, engaging, and structured way.
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
- A highly proactive, hands-on, and solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple new hires and onboarding processes simultaneously.
- Comfortable combining high-value training responsibilities with the practical operational tasks required to complete an onboarding.
- Strong digital skills and the ability to quickly learn new platforms and systems.
- Professional working proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability.

The Person We’re Looking ForWe are looking for someone who can deliver an excellent teacher-training session in the morning and, later that same day, make sure a newly approved teacher has their documentation, email account, laptop, system access, and Google Classroom ready to start teaching the following day.

This is an important part of the role.

We are not looking for someone whose responsibility ends with:

“I’ve passed this on to HR/IT.”

We are looking for someone who asks:

“What still needs to happen for this person to be fully ready to work?”
