We are seeking a highly motivated Linux Systems & Cybersecurity Engineer to join our Managed Services team at our clients office near Madrid. This role is focused on the maintenance, operation, and security of critical server infrastructures in a technically demanding environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Linux server administration, infrastructure maintenance, and cybersecurity operations.

You will work closely with technical teams to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of mission-critical systems. Key Responsibilities

- Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux-based server environments.
- Perform routine server maintenance, patching, upgrades, and performance optimization.
- Monitor system health, availability, and security posture.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity controls, hardening standards, and best practices.
- Support incident response, vulnerability management, and security investigations.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, operations, and security teams to maintain service continuity.
- Contribute to documentation, operational procedures, and security compliance initiatives.
- Ensure systems meet security and operational requirements in a high-availability environment.

Required Qualifications




- Proven experience in Linux System Administration (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian, or similar distributions).
- Experience working in Managed Services, Infrastructure Operations, or Server Maintenance roles.
- Good understanding of networking, operating systems, virtualization, and cloud technologies.
- Experience implementing cybersecurity controls and server hardening practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary technical teams.
- Excellent communication skills in an international environment. Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in one or more of the following cybersecurity domains will be highly valued:
