We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and quality-focused

QA Engineer to ensure software products meet functional, technical, and quality standards throughout the development lifecycle. The adecuado candidate will have strong testing and problem-solving skills, with experience identifying defects, improving testing processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and high-quality software.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test strategies for software applications.

- Analyze requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to define comprehensive testing scenarios.

- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, test scripts, and testing documentation.

- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, API, usability, and exploratory testing.

- Identify, reproduce, document, and track software defects throughout the development lifecycle.

- Provide detailed information about defects, including reproduction steps, expected results, actual results, and supporting evidence.

- Retest resolved issues and conduct regression testing after software changes.

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks when applicable.

- Perform API, database, cross-browser, cross-platform, and device testing as required.

- Collaborate with developers, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to investigate and resolve quality issues.

- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback related to testability and quality when required.

- Monitor test results, identify quality risks,



and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.

- Support release testing, deployment validation, and production verification activities.

- Identify opportunities to improve QA processes, automation coverage, tools, and testing efficiency.

- Maintain accurate documentation of testing activities, results, defects, and quality metrics.

Required Skills

- Strong understanding of software testing and quality assurance principles.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

- Strong experience creating and executing test cases and test scenarios.

- Experience with manual and automated testing methodologies.

- Ability to identify, reproduce, prioritize, and document software defects.

- Familiarity with test automation frameworks and tools.

- Knowledge of API testing and tools such as Postman or similar platforms.

- Familiarity with SQL and database testing.

- Experience with bug tracking and test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, Azure DevOps, or similar.

- Understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to software quality.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.





- Ability to communicate technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Strong organizational and time-management skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

- Previous experience as a QA Engineer, Quality Assurance Engineer, Software Tester, or similar role.

- Hands-on experience with manual software testing.

- Experience developing or maintaining automated tests is preferred.

- Experience testing web, mobile, desktop, API, or other software applications.

- Experience with functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.

- Experience using defect tracking and test management platforms.

- Understanding of CI/CD concepts and software release processes.

- Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL and databases.

- Ability to analyze technical requirements and translate them into effective testing strategies.

- Strong technical and analytical mindset.

- Ability to manage multiple testing activities and meet deadlines.

- Reliable internet connection and a suitable setup for remote work.

- Professional, proactive, dependable, and quality-focused attitude.

- English proficiency is required if the position involves working with English-speaking teams or technical documentation.
