We embrace a strong risk culture and all our professionals at all levels are expected to take a proactive and responsible approach toward risk management.Santander Corporate & Investment Banking (Santander CIB) is Santander's global division that supports some of the world's most complex and sophisticated corporate and institutional clients, offering customized services and value-added wholesale products to best meet their needs.THE DIFFERENCE YOU MAKE SCIB s looking for a SECURITIES FINANCE REPO TRADER ANALYST based out of Boadilla (Madrid)This role offers the opportunity to develop within a dynamic financial markets environment, gaining direct exposure to Securities Finance, Fixed Income and Repo markets.The successful candidate will work closely with Trading, Sales and other internal teams, contributing to the management of financing and liquidity needs across European Government Bonds and other fixed income securities.Previous experience in Trading is not required, and profiles coming from areas such as Sales, Risk, MiddleOffice or other market-related functions will also be considered.This is an opportunity to join a front-office Global Securities Finance trading desk and develop hands-on experience in European repo markets, working closely with Trading and Sales and gaining exposure to financing, liquidity, collateral and relative-value dynamics across European Government Bonds.The role offers a clear path to developing trading responsibilities as market knowledge and experience grow.As a Securities Finance Repo Trader Analyst, you will contribute to the management of the financing and liquidity needs of clients and the bank across European Government Bonds (EGBs)
and other fixed income securities.You will work in a fast-paced global market environment, interacting closely with Sales and other global teams, responding to market requests and supporting the identification of financing and relative value opportunities.Execute and manage short-term repo transactions across European Government Bonds, including General Collateral and later Specials.Provide market levels and pricing indications in response to specific requests from Sales teams and other internal stakeholders.Work closely with Sales teams to support client activity and respond efficiently to market and financing requests.Contribute to the management of client financing needs and the efficient use of the bank's balance sheet and collateral.Monitor trading risks, including market, liquidity, counterparty and settlement risks.Work closely with Trading, Sales, Risk, Middle Office and Operations teams to ensure efficient execution and management of transactions.Contribute to the development and improvement of analytical tools, data processes and trading workflowsWHAT YOU’LL BRINGWe are looking for a dynamic, proactive and analytical individual, comfortable working in a fastpaced environment and capable of making quick and sound decisions under pressure.Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as the role requires regular interaction with Sales teams and other stakeholders, as well as the ability to provide clear and timely market levels in response to specific business and client requests.Experience in data management and analysis will be highly valued, together with a broad understanding of financial markets.Required)Experience in Trading is valued but is not a requirement.

(Preferres)Previous experience working in a fast-paced financial environment and interacting with different stakeholders will be valued (Required)EducationBachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, Mathematics or another quantitative or related discipline.
