Are you passionate about observability, enterprise infrastructure, and leveraging AI to transform IT operations?
We're looking for a Senior Observability Engineer to join a general team building a next-generation observability platform powered by AI and Big Data. The mission is to predict, prevent, and analyze complex disruptions across large-scale enterprise environments while delivering end-to-end visibility across applications, networks, and infrastructure.
You'll work closely with international teams across Europe, helping shape the future of observability through automation, advanced monitoring, and AI-driven operational insights.
What You'll Do
- Understand business and technical observability requirements from internal stakeholders.
- Manage and oversee external managed service providers and vendors.
- Take end-to-end ownership of the observability ecosystem, including:
- Infrastructure design
- Tool development and automation
- CI/CD deployments
- Operational monitoring
- Continuous improvement initiatives
- Work with technologies such as:
- Grafana
- Gigamon
- Traffic Broker
- Cisco
- ThousandEyes
- Zabbix
- ELK Stack
- Identify new ways to generate business value from monitoring and operational data.
- Drive AI adoption and automation within observability processes.
- Collaborate with globally distributed teams to improve visibility, reliability, and performance across enterprise environments.
What We're Looking For
Required
Strong understanding of enterprise IT architectures
Solid networking and infrastructure background
Experience with observability and monitoring platforms such as:
APM
- Datadog
- Dynatrace
NPM
- SolarWinds
- NetScout
Infrastructure Monitoring
- Zabbix
- Nagios
- CheckMK
Log Analytics
- ELK
- Splunk
Experience managing vendors and external service providers
Hands-on experience using AI tools to automate observability or operational processes
Knowledge of concepts such as:
- Large Language Models (LLMs)
- AI Agents
- MCP Servers
- AI-assisted automation workflows
Professional English proficiency
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field
5+ years of experience in large-scale enterprise IT environments
Nice to Have
Python, Shell Scripting, or JavaScript
AWS and/or Azure experience
GitLab, Bitbucket, or similar source code repositories
CI/CD tools and automation pipelines
