In this context and in order to support the strengthening of the Purchasing division, Schneider Electric is recruiting a Senior Solution Buyer to contribute to a major program.
Your role:
Reporting to the Solution Procurement Manager and providing support for related purchases Multisegment Europe Solution center.
Your missions:
- Define and deploy the purchasing strategy for the families of products and services related to the program, in line with the requirements of a highly constrained field and in accordance with Schneider Electric's overall objectives.
- Manage cost reduction initiatives (Value Engineering, change of suppliers, negotiation) while guaranteeing the control of subcontracting
- Manage the strategic supplier relationship: selection, qualification, negotiation of contracts (price, deadlines, logistical conditions, quality and safety clauses).
- Ensure regulatory and contractual compliance (standards, customer requirements, certifications).
- Participate in the upstream phases of projects (tendering) to integrate the purchasing strategy from the design stage.
- Assess and mitigate supply chain risks (supplier audit, continuity plans, contractual clauses).
- Contribute to the purchasing database and the monitoring of performance indicators (cost, quality, deadlines, safety).
- Secure external procurement over the long term: implementation of framework contracts, sustainable procurement strategies and proactive management of disruption risks.
- Ensure regular reporting to management on purchasing KPIs, supplier performance and identified risks.
The role is based in Spain. You may have to travel 25% of the time.
Your profile:
- Education: Bac+5 in Purchasing, Engineering, Supply Chain or equivalent.
- Experience: 5 to 8 years in strategic purchasing, ideally in a complex industrial environment (energy, oil & gas).
Your skills:
- Technical skills:
- Knowledge of industrial processes,
- Mastery of ERP tools (SAP) and negotiation techniques.
- Cost analysis, risk management, contractualization.
- E-House manufacturing Process Knowledge
- Behavioural skills:
- Leadership and ability to work in a matrix environment.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Rigour, sense of ethics and compliance
- Synthesis Capacity
- Spanish and English Fluent are essential. French optional
