We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and quality-focused

Software Tester to evaluate software applications and ensure they function correctly, meet user requirements, and deliver a reliable user experience. The idóneo candidate will have strong testing and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify, document, and communicate software defects throughout the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

- Execute manual and automated tests to verify software functionality and quality.

- Review requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to identify testing needs.

- Create and maintain test cases, test scenarios, test scripts, and testing documentation.

- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, usability, and exploratory testing.

- Identify, reproduce, document, and track software bugs and defects.

- Provide clear reproduction steps, expected results, actual results, and supporting evidence for reported issues.

- Retest resolved defects and perform regression testing after software updates.

- Validate software functionality against business and technical requirements.

- Perform cross-browser, cross-platform, and device testing when required.

- Collaborate with developers, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to investigate and resolve issues.

- Maintain accurate records of test results, defects, and testing progress.

- Participate in release testing and deployment validation activities.

- Support user acceptance testing and production validation when required.

- Monitor testing progress and communicate quality risks and concerns.

- Identify opportunities to improve testing processes, tools, and documentation.

- Contribute to maintaining consistent software quality throughout the development lifecycle.

- Experience creating and executing test cases and test scenarios.

- Basic knowledge of web technologies, APIs, databases, or SQL is beneficial.

- Familiarity with automated testing concepts and tools is beneficial.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to communicate technical issues clearly and professionally.

- Strong organizational and time-management skills.

- Ability to manage multiple testing activities and meet deadlines.

- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

- Previous experience in software testing, QA, quality assurance, or a similar role.

- Experience creating and executing manual test cases.

- Experience identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects.

- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, TestRail, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.

- Experience testing web, mobile, desktop, or other software applications.

- Experience performing functional and regression testing.

- Understanding of software development and release processes.

- Strong computer and digital skills.

- Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios.

- Ability to communicate testing results and technical findings clearly.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

- Reliable internet connection and a suitable setup for remote work.

- English proficiency is required if the position involves working with English-speaking teams or technical documentation.
