Experteer Overview
In this role you will lead a multidisciplinary engineering team focused on fleet reliability and root cause analysis across Solar and Storage installations. You will govern complex RCA investigations, ensuring evidence-based conclusions and effective corrective actions that reduce fleet risk. You will partner with cross-functional teams to translate field learnings into product and process improvements, shaping reliability across the general fleet. This is a hands-on leadership role that drives safety, rigor, and measurable reliability outcomes.

• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team responsible for fleet reliability and RCA
• Own and improve the RCA governance process, including prioritization, reviews, milestones, and closure criteria
• Lead investigations of complex, high-impact failures across solar inverters, BESS, plant controls, and power conversion equipment
• Ensure investigations are evidence-based using data, logs, tests, and structured problem-solving methods
• Differentiate failure symptoms, causes, contributing factors, and systemic and organizational causes with evidence
• Drive containment, mitigation, and permanent corrective actions with engineering and operations owners
• Prioritize investigations by safety, customer impact, availability, recurrence, fleet population, warranty exposure, and financial impact




• Maintain a fleet-level view of failure modes across products, regions, configurations, and suppliers
• Collaborate with Fleet Performance u0026 Analytics to use data for issue detection, exposure quantification, and action verification
• Translate field learnings into product, design, validation, manufacturing, and maintenance improvements
• Provide technical leadership during critical fleet events and executive reviews
• Ensure RCA reports are accurate, timely, and evidence-based
• Develop reusable engineering knowledge, including standards, libraries, and templates
• Support Change, Modification, and Upgrade actions from reliability findings
• Establish metrics such as RCA cycle time, recurrence rate, and fleet-risk reduction
• Foster safety, rigor, accountability, collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement

Responsabilidades
• Bachelor-level engineering degree in a technical field
• Experience in engineering, reliability, failure analysis or related function
• Proven track record leading complex investigations or RCAs with multidisciplinary scope
• Experience leading engineers or cross-functional programs
• Experience with power generation, renewables, BESS, power conversion, or industrial automation
• Willingness to travel internationally
