We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and quality-focused

Test Engineer to design, execute, and improve testing processes that ensure software products meet functional, technical, and quality standards. The idóneo candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, hands-on testing experience, and the ability to work closely with development and product teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

- Design and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.

- Analyze requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to identify testing needs.

- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, usability, exploratory, and performance testing.

- Execute manual and automated tests to validate software functionality and reliability.

- Identify, reproduce, document, and track software defects.

- Provide detailed defect reports including reproduction steps, expected results, actual results, and supporting evidence.

- Retest resolved defects and perform regression testing after software changes.

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and testing frameworks when applicable.

- Perform API, database, cross-browser, cross-platform, and device testing as required.

- Collaborate with developers, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to investigate and resolve issues.

- Participate in release testing and deployment validation activities.

- Monitor test results and communicate quality risks, issues, and recommendations.

- Maintain accurate documentation of testing activities, results, and defects.

- Identify opportunities to improve testing processes, automation coverage, tools, and overall product quality.

- Support continuous improvement of QA standards and testing methodologies.

Required Skills

- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and quality assurance principles.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

- Experience creating and executing manual test cases.





- Knowledge of automated testing concepts and frameworks.

- Ability to identify, reproduce, prioritize, and clearly document software defects.

- Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, Azure DevOps, or similar.

- Knowledge of API testing and tools such as Postman or similar platforms.

- Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL and database testing.

- Understanding of Agile and Scrum development methodologies.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to software quality.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to communicate technical issues clearly and effectively.

- Strong organizational and time-management skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

- Previous experience as a Test Engineer, QA Engineer, Software Tester, or similar role.

- Hands-on experience with software testing and defect management.

- Experience creating and maintaining test cases, test plans, and testing documentation.

- Experience testing web, mobile, desktop, API, or other software applications.

- Experience performing functional and regression testing.

- Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks.

- Experience using defect tracking and test management platforms.

- Understanding of software development and release processes.

- Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into effective testing strategies.

- Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving mindset.

- Ability to manage multiple testing activities while meeting deadlines.

- Reliable internet connection and a suitable setup for remote work.

- English proficiency is required if the position involves working with English-speaking teams or technical documentation.
