An opportunity for an Training Devices Project Manager has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid). The selected candidate will join the Transport &

Mission Training Aids Team, which is responsible to lead the execution on time, on cost, on quality of all the tasks related to the definition, purchase, development, validation, acceptance, qualification and delivery to the customer of LTA and MRTT simulators. These activities also include the preparation of the Data Package (DP) and Software Package (SWP) and the definition and purchase of Parts & Equipment (P&E;) and Spares. This involves the use of Airbus configuration and documentation tools and the participation in the Configuration, Modifications and Service Bulletins Committees to analyze impacts on the on-going projects and if so, launch the appropriate activities. The jobholder has full responsibility for the delivery of the final product to the Customers ensuring the proper identification and control of Risks and Opportunities and guarantees accurate reporting of key performance indicators. Monitors and drumbeats the activities to ensure that the project is being carried out within the expected performance indicators and customer’s requirements. The jobholder also facilitates the liaison between all the Airbus areas involved in the project, suppliers and end-customer. The jobholder acts as point of contact with the end-customer and suppliers for tecnical topics related with the project execution. Technical/Logistic/Management requirements documents, cost calculations & control, plans/directives, schedules,



statement of work documents, risk mitigation plans, project status reports KPIs definition, and support to offers to Customers. In addition, Project Manager is the Authority to sign the Technical documents approval, Minutes of Meetings with internal Stakeholders, Suppliers and Customer and Acceptance documents for the product.
