.NET Developer - ALTEN Belgium

The Position

As part of our ongoing growth, we are looking for a .NET Developer to join our teams and work on client projects located in Brussels. You will join our client’s application modernization initiative, focused on upgrading and modernizing a portfolio of existing Java applications running on legacy environments.

As a .NET developer, your main responsibilities will include:

- Design, develop and maintain applications using .NET technologies
- Analyse functional and technical requirements together with business stakeholders
- Develop robust, scalable and secure software solutions
- Implement REST APIs and integrate with internal and external systems
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to development best practices
- Collaborate within Agile/Scrum teams
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues
- Contribute to software architecture discussions and technical improvements
- Ensure compliance with security, quality and performance standards
- Support testing, deployment and maintenance activities

Your profile

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in software development
- Strong knowledge of C# and .NET (.NET Core / .NET 6+)
- Experience with ASP.NET Core and Web APIs
- Knowledge of SQL Server and relational databases




- Experience with Git and CI/CD practices
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Professional proficiency in English, combined with good Dutch or French.
