Description 3 vacancies Assistant Professor in Aerospace Engineering Department Contract duration: 2 years.

Estimated contract end date: january 31st 2028 Requirements Research Field Engineering » Aerospace engineering Education Level PhD or equivalent Skills/Qualifications Field of experience: Aerospace Engineering or related fields, particularly Aircraft Design and Manufacturing. Independent research potential, critical thinking, ability to cope with innovation and interdisciplinarity.



Postdoctoral experience of up to 6 years Additional Information Selection process To help consolidate a competitive research program in one or more areas of Aerospace Engineering To help build competitive proposals for research funding To publish impactful scientific contributions To advise PhD Theses.

All expected management, representation, and dissemination activities of faculty members.

General contractual conditions: Gross salary 38-41 k€/year. Options for additional salary supplements offered by UC3M and based on productivity and excellence Standard benefits, including Health care under the Spanish National System.

Contract Start: February 2026, preferably. The duration of the contract is 2 years. Successful candidates are expected to transition into a tenure-track position after that period.
