An innovative biopharmaceutical company is seeking a Medical Manager Rare Diseases to play a key role in the upcoming launch of a novel therapy in Spain. This is an exciting opportunity to shape medical strategy, engage with key stakeholders, and contribute to improving outcomes for patients with high unmet medical needs.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute the local medical strategy to support the successful launch of a new therapy within the rare diseases portfolio.
Serve as the scientific expert for both internal and external stakeholders, providing high-quality medical and clinical insights throughout the pre-launch and launch phases.
Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, scientific societies, patient advocacy groups, and other relevant stakeholders.
Gather and communicate medical insights to support strategic decision-making and identify unmet medical needs within the therapeutic area.




Lead and coordinate scientific exchange activities, including advisory boards, expert meetings, educational initiatives, and medical events.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Commercial, Market Access, Regulatory, Clinical Development, and General Medical teams to ensure alignment and successful launch execution.
Support evidence generation initiatives, including real-world evidence projects, investigator-sponsored studies, and medical research activities.
Develop and review scientific materials, ensuring medical accuracy and compliance with internal and external regulations.
Ensure all medical activities are conducted in accordance with company policies, industry codes, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Candidate ProfileAdvanced degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, or a related scientific field. MD, PharmD, or PhD preferred.
