Job Description: The Infrastructure Field IT Engineer is responsible for providing on-site technical support, maintaining IT infrastructure, and ensuring the reliability of hardware, software, and network systems across assigned locations. This role involves hands-on troubleshooting, proactive maintenance, and coordination with central IT teams to uphold service levels and business continuity. ? Key Responsibilities: * Provide on-site support for desktops, laptops, printers, network devices, and other IT equipment. * Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems. * Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to infrastructure, connectivity, and user access. * Perform routine checks, patching, and updates on servers and network components. * Support LAN/WAN infrastructure, including switches, routers, and wireless access points. * Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and replacements. * Assist in onboarding/offboarding activities including device provisioning and access setup. * Maintain accurate documentation of assets, incidents, and service requests.



* Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and data protection protocols. * Participate in infrastructure upgrade projects and site rollouts. * Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support or specialized teams. ? Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. * 3–5 years of experience in IT infrastructure or field support roles. * Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, networking fundamentals, and endpoint security. * Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow) and remote support tools. * Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals are a plus. * Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills. * Ability to travel between sites and work independently. ?
