For our headquarters in Madrid, we are looking for a Junior Data Analyst Intern
to architect, build, and evolve our operational data perimeter supporting Energy Trading activities. This role is central to transforming raw operational data into reliable, actionable intelligence through modern cloud‑native data engineering, analytics, and AI‑driven solutions.
As a Junior Data Analyst Intern / Junior Data Scientist Intern, you will work closely with the D3A team to support the development and deployment of data tools and intelligent analytics solutions.
The candidate will gain hands-on experience in Data Analytics, AI use cases,



Data Engineering practices and Energy Markets by working alongside experienced Data Scientists, Data Engineers and Business Experts in a real-world trading and energy environment.
Structure and document data pipelines and datasets.
Monitor and improve data quality through validation checks.
Collaborate in the development and implementation of Machine Learning models and advanced analytics techniques when they add value to forecasting and analysis processes, having conversations with Data Scientists, Data engineers, Market analysts.
Participate in the validation and monitoring of models through backtesting, benchmarking, and results analysis processes, proposing improvements with the support and guidance of the team.
Work collaboratively with traders, quantitative analysts, analysts, and data and regulatory teams in the development of new methodologies and business support tools.
Prepare and present the results of analyses and developed models in a clear and structured manner,
