About the Role
Guydeez is seeking enthusiastic freelance local tour guides in Las Palmas to lead private walking tours for visitors. This role is ideal for people with strong local knowledge who enjoy sharing the city’s culture, history, and daily life. No professional tour guide license is required — onboarding and guidance are provided.
Responsibilities
- Lead private walking tours showcasing Las Palmas’ main sights and neighborhoods (3-8 hours)
- Share cultural insights, stories, and useful local recommendations
- Adapt tours to different visitor interests and pace
- Provide a friendly, professional, and engaging experience
- Optionally host themed or food-focused tours
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of Las Palmas’ culture, landmarks,
and local life
- Living in or very familiar with Las Palmas
- Comfortable communicating with international travelers
- Fluent in at least one of the following languages: Spanish, English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, or Chinese
- Reliable, punctual, and customer-oriented
- Available for tours lasting several hours
Nice to Have:
- Previous experience in hospitality, guiding, or tourism
- Interest in gastronomy and local experiences
